It is played according to the SHF competition rules. Slovak teams are obliged to follow the Uniform Structure of Game Systems of SHF. Mini handball has its own actual rules.
Sanctions for non-compliance with the regulation: progressive punishment of the team’s executive group, reprimand, 1-minute exclusion, red card = disqualification.
TIE SCORE
In case of tie score in the basic group, the following shall decide:
- greater goal difference from each other’s matches,
- greater goal difference from all matches,
- more goals scored from all matches,
- more wins from all matches,
- toss (a coin).
In the elimination part, in the event of a tie, the three 7m throw is decisive, in the event of a tie, the rule 1+1.
COURTS & BALLS
The tournament is played exclusively in covered halls with a pitch of 40m x 20m. Mini handball is played on a reduced court with dimensions of 20m x 12-14m.
In categories A and B, it is played with glueless balls of size no. 1. In categories C and D, rubber balls of size no. 0 are used.
MATCHES & PLAYING TIME
The organizer guarantees each team to play at least 7 matches for U12. The matches will be played 2 x 15 minutes with a break of 3 minutes to change sides and 5 minutes between matches. Two referees will be delegated for each match. A maximum of 16 players from one team can enter the match, and they must be listed in the protocol. A minimum of one but a maximum of four team leaders must be present at the match, who must also be listed in the protocol.
The organizer guarantees each team to play at least 9 matches for U10. The matches will be played 1 x 15 minutes with a break of 5 minutes for changing teams. Number of players 4 + 1 (4 players in the field + goalkeeper). One referee is delegated for each match. A maximum of 12 players from one team can enter the match, and they must be listed in the protocol. A minimum of one but a maximum of two team leaders must be present at the match, who must also be listed in the protocol.
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
All cases not listed in the Competition Rules of the SHF or in the official regulations of the tournament will be resolved by the management committee, which will deal with all protests, appeals and complaints regarding the course of the sports part of the tournament.
